We would love to have you sing with us. Serenata enjoys two sessions a year. Our Autumn session starts in October, and culminates in our Christmas Concert. The Spring session starts up again in January, and ends with the Spring concert in May. The choir takes the summer off for rest and renewal. Our new members may join at the beginning of either term, and no audition is required.
Our fees are $150 per session, due at the beginning of each season. For members that may find this preventative, the choir offers a bursary to help with the cost.
The fees cover rehearsal space, sheet music, the expertise of our musical director and accompanist, insurance, administrative expenses, and venues.
Rehearsals are held at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Mission, BC. They start at 7pm, and usually run for two hours.
